Old Dominion Freight Line announced the promotion of Darek Nowak to vice president of the company’s Midwest Region and Brian Homan to sales director of the company’s Midwest Region. Nowak will be based in Des Plaines, Ill., while Homan will be based in Minneapolis.
Nowak will be responsible for the Thomasville, N.C.-based company’s sales and operations in a seven-state region. He has more than 20 years of experience in the transportation industry and has been with Old Dominion for 13 years. He previously served as manager of the company’s Chicago service center.
Homan is responsible for the development and training of sales representatives in the region and working with the team to maintain and grow business. He has more than 30 years of experience in the less-than-truckload industry, serving in various capacities including city sales manager and service center manager.
