Qualcomm Inc., a developer of wireless technologies, products and services, announced that Dr. Avneesh Agrawal, senior vice president of product management at Qualcomm CDMA Technologies, has been appointed senior vice president and president of Qualcomm India and South Asia. Kanwalinder Singh, senior vice president of Qualcomm and president of Qualcomm India, has been appointed senior vice president of business development in the newly created New Markets group within Qualcomm CDMA Technologies.
Singh will be responsible for relationships and business development, solutions development with Qualcomm’s chipset customers and partners, and chipset and reference design roadmaps. He will be based in San Diego and will report to Steve Mollenkopf, executive vice president and group president, Qualcomm.
