Webb Wheel is making its television debut showing the proper installation techniques for heavy truck and trailer disc wheel hubs during a “Motorhead Garage” episode airing on Fox Sports Network on Sunday, Dec. 11, at 11:30 a.m. and Monday, Dec. 12, at 4:30 p.m. in all time zones.
Marshall Boheler, vice president of sales and marketing, and Johnathon Capps, product engineering manager from Webb’s Aftermarket business unit, demonstrate the critical steps required to install a brake drum properly in a 10-stud stud-piloted mounting system. They point out the proper procedure to follow when installing the brake drum so it’s done right, eliminating problems for the trucker.
Webb says its technical expertise – built on years of wheel-end component development, manufacture and service – was a key reason why the company was invited to be part of “Motorhead Garage,” which explores trucking industry technology.
“Webb takes every opportunity to deliver technical advice to the industry,” says Boheler. “We understand ‘Motorhead Garage’ has a significant growing viewership, so we wanted to be part of one of their episodes. We believe our demonstration will be very useful to those watching.”
