Allied Oil & Supply Inc., a Midwest distributor of lubricants and commercial tires, announced its official corporate name change to Allied Oil & Tire Co. to better reflect the company’s product and service offerings. Allied’s tire division will cease to be referred to as Allied Tire Co., as the name change more closely aligns and strengthens the identity of the company’s primary oil and tire operating divisions.

The changes are effective immediately, and all future business activity will take place with the new name. “While our company name is changing, all core components of the organization will remain the same, including our superior service and branded products consisting of Allied, Shell, Michelin and others,” says Steve Phillips, president. To illustrate the name change, a revised logo has been adopted.

The company serves customers across a wide range of markets, including transportation, construction, passenger car motor oil, industrial, mining and agriculture. “Heavy-duty commercial fleets appreciate the value Allied Oil & Tire Company provides in both essential areas of business from one dependable supplier, reducing overall operating costs through our Allied Advantage Solutions,” says Phillips. “The same approach is taken within our Industrial Solutions and Passenger Car markets.”

In addition to the corporate headquarters in Omaha, Neb., Allied Oil & Tire has branches in Kansas City, Mo.; Joplin, Mo.; Des Moines, Iowa; and Sioux Falls, S.D., with satellite locations in Waterloo and Sioux City, Iowa.
