Peterbilt Motors Co. named Stahl Peterbilt-Edmonton, Canada, the 2011 Peterbilt North American Dealer of the Year. Rush Peterbilt Truck Center-Houston was named the 2011 Peterbilt Medium Duty Dealer of the Year. The 2011 Paccar MX Engine Dealer of the Year went to the Allstate Peterbilt Group of South St. Paul, Minn.

Eddy Stahl, dealer principal of Stahl Peterbilt, accepted the award at the annual Peterbilt Dealer Meeting held in Frisco, Texas. Stahl Peterbilt won the award based upon superior performance in all aspects of their business, including truck sales, service performance, parts sales growth and finance operations, including PacLease representation.

“Stahl Peterbilt achieved exceptional heavy-duty and medium-duty market share and an impressive parts and service absorption level,” says Bill Kozek, Peterbilt general manager and Paccar vice president. “All levels of this organization display an outstanding dedication and passion for the business. This dealer truly represents the class of the industry.”

Stahl Peterbilt-Edmonton also was recognized as Peterbilt’s 2007 North American Dealer of the Year. Since becoming a Peterbilt dealer in 2003, Stahl Peterbilt has been recognized as Peterbilt’s Dealer of the Year twice and four times as a Best in Class dealer. Stahl Peterbilt dealerships in Edmonton and Grande Prairie, Alberta, have earned a total of 12 Peterbilt Platinum Oval awards.

“We are honored to be recognized as the Peterbilt North American Dealer of the Year,” said Stahl. “With our continuing investments in people and facilities, we will continue to perform at outstanding levels to ensure customers receive exceptional service and value from Stahl Peterbilt and the Peterbilt products we represent.”

Marvin Rush and Rusty Rush, dealer principals of Rush Peterbilt Truck Centers, accepted the Medium Duty Dealer of the Year award for Rush Peterbilt Truck Center-Houston. “Rush Peterbilt Truck Center continues to recognize the value of selling the Peterbilt medium-duty line across all market segments,” Kozek says. “The overall breadth and strength of Peterbilt medium-duty products, combined with the outstanding support and commitment of our employees, results in outstanding customer satisfaction.”

“This award is a tribute to our dedicated medium-duty sales manager and medium-duty sales team, who helped us achieve a 43 percent market share last year,” says Rusty Rush. “Peterbilt’s diverse medium-duty product line, including the Model 210 along with the conventional models 325, 330, 337 and the 348, promise outstanding quality and versatility to our customers.”

Don Larson, dealer principal of Allstate Peterbilt, accepted the Paccar MX Engine Dealer of the Year award. “The Paccar MX Engine Award recognizes the Peterbilt dealership group that provides the best all-around sales and service support of the MX Engine product,” Kozek says. “Allstate Peterbilt is fully committed to increasing the number of MX Engines in operation and providing excellent customer service.”

“We are truly honored to be recognized as the Paccar MX Engine Dealer of the Year,” says Larson. “We strive to provide exceptional services and support our wide mix of MX customers.”
