Polar Tank Trailer names Thompson Springfield plant GM

Polar Tank Trailer, a manufacturer of aluminum, stainless-steel and carbon-steel tank trailers, has named Brent Thompson general manager of the company’s manufacturing operation in Springfield, Mo., where he will direct the plant’s strategic and day-to-day operations. Previously, Thompson held increasingly senior operations-management positions at the ITW Ramset division of Illinois Tool Works.

“Brent has the right combination of plant-management experience to lead our Springfield operation to world-class levels of performance,” says Jim Painter, president of Polar Tank Trailer.
