Hutchens adds intermediate widespread hangers

Hutchens’ intermediate widespread hangers, part of the company’s Hutch 9700 suspension product line, are fabricated versions of its 16180-01 straddlemount and 16181-01 undermount cast hangers.

The intermediate hangers are designed for applications that require a longer wheelbase to distribute trailer weight and keep the gross trailer weight or the weight of each individual axle within limits.

The fabricated extensions have a slightly different “footprint” than the cast versions and are designed for the company’s 54½- through 81-inch widespread axle spacings.
