SpeedGauge, a provider of business intelligence and location-based analytics for the trucking and insurance industry, announced that it has more than doubled the number of its resellers since the start of 2011. The company says it has recorded steady month-over-month growth since 2008, expanding across new geographies such as Canada and Australasia.

Since 2011, SpeedGauge has signed reseller, patent and service agreements with a wide range of new telematics providers, including 2-Track, Automotive Resources International, CarrierWeb, Intermedix, FleetLocate, Navman Wireless, International Road Dynamics, International Telematics and Procon Telematics. SpeedGauge continues to offer standardized and customized systems to its partners based on its core driver-behavior IP products and GPS data analytics.

SpeedGauge says that with the newly added telematics service providers, the installed base of its integrated units has doubled, incorporating such new verticals as medical transportation and fleet leasing.

The SpeedGauge platform marries safety, risk, GPS analysis and coaching tools for smarter and safer driving, the company says. Deployment of SpeedGauge does not require any additional equipment or installation fees and often is completed in less than 24 hours.
