ATRI seeking feedback on 34-hour restart

As part of a study on hours of service regulations, the American Transportation Research Institute is seeking feedback in the form of a survey on the “potential impacts of changes to the 34-hour restart rule,” according to an announcement.

The non-profit research group says that it wants to look into quantifying the “real-world operation impacts” on the industry that could come of the hours changes.

The surveys are confidential and can be accessed on ATRI’s website,, and the results will be available later this year, while the full study will be released next year, ATRI says.
