As part of a study on hours of service regulations, the American Transportation Research Institute is seeking feedback in the form of a survey on the “potential impacts of changes to the 34-hour restart rule,” according to an announcement.

The non-profit research group says that it wants to look into quantifying the “real-world operation impacts” on the industry that could come of the hours changes.

The surveys are confidential and can be accessed on ATRI’s website, atri-online.org, and the results will be available later this year, while the full study will be released next year, ATRI says.
