Volvo Group opens new Dex Heavy Duty Parts facility

Executives of the Volvo Group, Dex Heavy Duty Parts LLC and local and state public officials today celebrated the grand opening of the Dex facility in Advance, North Carolina with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and tour of the facility. Dex, a Volvo Group subsidiary and supplier of recycled, renovated and surplus medium- and heavy-duty truck parts.

The Volvo Group invested $2.6 million into the renovation of the 210,000 square-foot Dex building, the site of a former textile storage facility. The building is located on 38 acres near a major highway, enabling the easier transportation of materials.
