CCJ spoke via phone last week to Ray Martinez, Administrator of the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration under President Trump, about hours of service, autonomous vehicles, CSA reforms and more. While he’s still relatively new to the job, having assumed the role in February, he’s fleshed out a few areas where he’s eyeing changes, including a potential review of hours of service and changing the agency’s relationship with the industry it regulates.
