Paccar awarded National Medal of Technology

President Bush presented Paccar with the National Medal of Technology in a ceremony at the White House Monday, Feb. 13. Paccar earned the medal for its leadership in the development of aerodynamic, lightweight commercial vehicles, which have reduced fuel consumption and increased the productivity of freight transportation.

Established by Congress in 1980, the National Medal of Technology represents the nation’s highest award for innovation, recognizing the significant contributions that America’s leading innovators make to the nation’s economic strength and technology advancements.
