Shop Tip: Line the liner

Project Super Crew has the bed sprayed with a heavy-duty liner material to protect it from a good amount of daily use and abuse.

But there are times when you want to keep tools and equipment from getting abused while being transported int the open bed — and sliding around on a heavy-duty spray-on liner will rough up things.

So we cut-down a Bedrug Bedmat molded for the 2011 F-250 bed and dropped it in over the sprayed-on liner.

We butted it flush to the re-fuel tank and notched the carpet to fit around the bedside tool box support legs.

The product looks great and is easy on anything being transported — from equipment for the jobsite to your hunting dog on the way to camp. — The Editors
