00:00 In this week’s CCJ Tech Shorts, we’ll take a look at Truckstop’s latest features, a TMS platform’s AI partnership, TomTom’s new integration and more.
00:22 Freight marketplace Truckstop has rolled out four new features designed to significantly enhance the load matching experience for its load board carrier customers.
The Authority Age Filter feature allows carriers to filter loads based on the broker’s authority age requirement, saving carriers time by allowing them to only view loads from brokers they may be eligible to work with.
The Load Popularity feature allows carriers to assess load postings by the number of times they have been viewed so carriers can identify opportunities with less competition, leading to stronger negotiation power and potentially better rates.
The Backhaul Search feature includes a “swap” icon that allows carriers to quickly reverse their origin and destination search, making it easier to find return loads from their current location.
The Similar Loads Recommendation feature addresses the issue of limited load results in low volume lanes by intelligently suggesting similar loads that align with the carrier’s search criteria, helping them discover more relevant opportunities.
Three additional features are coming this summer, including Lane Suggestions, Factorability Data and RMIS Onboarded Loads.
01:31 Web-based TMS platform Transport Pro has integrated with CloneOps.ai.
CloneOps.ai’s autonomous virtual agents are now embedded directly into Transport Pro’s TMS. The AI agents act like virtual team members who work 24/7.
Key benefits include AI-handled inbound calls for shippers, drivers, and customers; automated dispatch with virtual agents assigning loads and confirming carriers; real-time load updates for brokers, carriers, and shippers; and back-office automation supporting AP, document matching and more.
02:07 TomTom has partnered with AI-powered toll and fuel management solutions provider MapUp to enhance TomTom’s new toll price API.
TomTom’s map and navigation technology combined with MapUp’s toll intelligence gives fleet operators, logistics companies, and automakers access to precise toll calculations for all vehicle types and classifications.
This integration enables accurate toll quoting and fair driver reimbursements and eliminates revenue leakage from missed toll expenses, supporting cost management and route optimization across operations within existing navigation workflows.
02:44 Triumph Financial is now Triumph. The company has rebranded, bringing its transportation-focused brands, including TriumphPay, Triumph Factoring, ISO and Triumph Financial under a single brand name.
Triumph CEO Aaron Graft said, “By unifying our transportation businesses under one identity, we’re eliminating unnecessary complexity, focusing on what matters most to our customers. Powered by the Triumph Network, we are now better positioned to lead with greater clarity, consistency and operational excellence, while giving our customers the confidence they need to grow, scale and thrive in a rapidly evolving freight economy.”
As part of its rebranding, Triumph launched a new website at Triumph.io. Triumph’s recent acquisition of Greenscreens.ai will fold into the Triumph Intelligence offering later this year.
