Traffic was snarled for hours Monday morning after a livestock truck carrying 89 calves tipped over on the I-285 East ramp at the I-75 interchange in Cobb County, Georgia north of Atlanta. The truck was headed from Florida to northwest Georgia.
Eleven cows died in the crash and several dozen were loose and had to be rounded up. The last one was corralled at about 8 p.m. Monday, according to news reports.
The as yet unidentified driver of the tractor-trailer was taken to an area hospital with injuries.
