Webasto heater available on Freightliner, Volvo

Webasto Thermosystems, Lapeer, Mich., announced its Air Top 2000 auxiliary air heater is an option on Freightliner Century Class, Columbia and Coronado truck models. The unit provides 7,000 Btu per hour of sleeper heat with the engine off, to decrease idle time, and reduce fuel and maintenance costs. The Air Top 2000 provides up to 20-hours of sleeper heat on a single gallon fuel and is battery-friendly, drawing only 0.75-1.80 amps when idling.
