Load One Trucks And People Unloading ThemLoad One, LLC, in Taylor, Mich., has reached an agreement with App Nouveau Canada (ANC) to act as the company’s exclusive transportation technology consultant and developer.

ANC is a software-as-a-service (SaaS) and mobile application development company serving government and private corporations. The company is newly formed by developers with extensive experience in transportation related software and programming.

Ed De Leon, CEO of ANC, was one of the founders of the web-based Sylectus dispatch and transportation management system (TMS) which is used by carriers in the expedite business. Sylectus was acquired by Omnitracs in 2011.

Load One uses the Sylectus TMS platform and will be using ANC to integrate a lot of its current platforms and to-be-named technology. It will also build new software and modules to bolt on top of Sylectus and other back-office applications, as well new mobile solutions for drivers, said John Elliott, CEO of Load One.

“We are very excited to have the chance to be part of the Load One team,” said Mr. De Leon. “It is a great opportunity to be part of the growth of Load One as it leverages technology to enhance its position as an industry leader in the expedited transportation market.”

“Our organization has always embraced new technology and been an early adopter of new tech,” said Elliott. “This move cements our commitment to embracing, building and integrating the best technology platforms and delivering the best overall product in the expedited transportation industry.”
