Freightliner unveiled North America’s first state-licensed autonomous truck earlier this month at a press event in Las Vegas. CCJ Equipment Editor Jack Roberts and I had the chance to ride in the truck, the Inspiration, after its unveiling in a brief trip up and down Interstate 15 near the Las Vegas Speedway. Piloting the truck while we rode was Freightliner engineer Jim Martin, who showed how the Inpsiration’s autonomous features work.
