Alekh Vaidya

Vaidya is a Software Engineering Manager at Meta Platforms. His career spans leadership roles in vehicle safety, telematics, and autonomous-vehicle technologies, including senior engineering positions at Solera, Omnitracs, and SmartDrive, where he helped design embedded computing platforms for large-scale commercial fleet safety systems. He also served as telematics software lead at LiveWire, the electric-vehicle affiliate of Harley-Davidson, overseeing connected-vehicle products and over-the-air update systems. Vaidya holds more than 50 patents in embedded systems, vehicle safety technologies, and autonomous vehicle platforms.
