ABF Freight System, Inc. (www.abf.com) has again been named a Web Business 50 Award winner. The award, sponsored by CIO magazine, recognizes 50 organizations around the world for Internet leadership and innovation. ABF.com is one of only two Internet sites to win this award in both 2000 and 2001.

A team of CIO magazine editors, writers and Web development experts selected the top sites in business, government and nonprofit arenas. ABF, UPS and Southwest Airlines were the only transportation providers on the award list.

In mid-2000, ABF.com was redesigned to include eCenter, a streamlined user interface that gives customers faster access to the most frequently used tools, such as shipment tracking and document retrieval. In late summer 2001, ABF released the next phase in eCommerce – a suite of advanced online logistics planning tools, including historical reports, charts and graphs, Optipool and Merge-in-Transit.
