Trucker Buddy is holding a charity golf outing at the Wesburn Golf and Country Club in South Rockwood, Mich., on Tuesday, Aug. 9.
Tee-off time is 11 a.m. A $60 donation gets players a day on the fairway, a golf cart and catered food. All money raised will go to the Trucker Buddy International program.
The outing is part of the Fifth Annual Expedite Expo, held Wednesday, Aug. 10 and Thursday, Aug. 11.
Trucker Buddy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to educating and mentoring the nation’s schoolchildren in grades 2-8 about the trucking industry via a pen-pal relationship with professional drivers.
