Western Star Trucks is a sponsor for the first tour of the Road Hammers, who are rocking across Canada through November.
The Road Hammers were named 2005 Group of the Year at the Canadian Country Music Awards. They play country, Southern rock and blues with a number of trucking songs in the mix, including covers of classics such as “East Bound and Down,” “Girl on the Billboard” and “Willin’.”
The leader is Jason McCoy, the Canadian Country Music Awards’ 2004 Male Vocalist of The Year, accompanied by Clayton Bellamy and Chris Byrne.
The band’s self-titled album debuted at No. 1 on the Canadian country charts.
