Jost International, a manufacturer of fifth wheels and landing gear assemblies, is traveling the country to demonstrate their technology to fleets, dealers and owner-operators.
The tour will attempt to show the ease of maintenance of the Jost fifth wheel through interactive demonstrations. At each stop, visitors can compete in a national “fastest hands” competition by completing a mock rebuild of the locking mechanism.
Because the company is approaching the mark of 100,000 Jost wheels manufactured at its facility in Greeneville, Tenn., it also will be conducting a search along the tour to locate the fifth wheel that has accumulated the most miles.
The winners of both contests will receive $500 gift certificates and will be announced during the Great American Trucking Show in Dallas.
Part of the tour will include participation in America’s Traveling Truck Show, which already has begun a tour of 19 states. To learn more about the Jost tour, contact Rich Carroll at email@example.com.
