All Freight Systems, a truckload carrier based in Kansas City, Kan., has raised its owner-operator pay from 88 cents per mile to 91 cents per mile. The three-cent-per-mile increase is paid on all miles, loaded and unloaded. For drivers who choose to base their pay on percentage of load revenue instead of the mileage rate, this translates to 70 percent outbound and 80 percent inbound pay on all freight, the company says.

All Freight’s new pay package also includes 100 percent paid fuel surcharge on all loaded miles, base plates, permits and bobtail insurance; and reimbursement for tolls encountered on company routes.
