The new Kenworth T660, a supplier trade show and a sizzling barbecue were among the highlights of the 2006 MHC Kenworth MO/KAN Truck Expo held recently at the Kansas Speedway. MHC Kenworth’s Missouri locations in Kansas City, Columbia and Springfield, and Kansas branches in Olathe, Salina and Topeka, teamed up to host the event where customers explored the new Kenworth T660 model and the latest Kenworth W900, T800, T2000 and T300 models.

The Kenworth T660 is currently on an extended national tour visiting Kenworth dealer locations through November. The new model is available with Kenworth’s 86-inch AeroCab and 72-inch AeroCab Aerodyne sleepers, and in a day cab configuration with an extended day cab option.

“The Kenworth T660 has been extraordinarily well-received by customers in all different segments,” says Tim Murphy, president and chief executive officer of MHC Kenworth. “The tour and new model are generating a lot of enthusiasm and interest at MHC Kenworth locations. While the focus of our events has varied, the response has been consistent — the T660 is an exciting new product. This truck is generating a buzz that will carry into 2007.”

MHC Kenworth also generated excitement for the Kenworth T660 for customers at stops of the national Kenworth T660 Road Tour hosted by its dealer locations in Chattanooga, Knoxville, Memphis and Nashville, Tenn.; Jackson, Miss.; Little Rock, Ark.; and Atlanta.
