Decker Truck Line names February Drivers of the Month

Decker Truck Line, based in Fort Dodge, Iowa, has named its February Drivers of the Month. Drivers and owner-operators are nominated each month by their dispatcher, and are selected based on their overall performance within all areas of the company, including operational productivity, safety record, maintenance/care of equipment, payroll and billing, and customer service.

Michael Washington was named Driver of the Month for the flatbed division. Washington has been with Decker for more than a year and is based out of the company’s Birmingham, Ala., terminal.

Lynn Beckler was named Driver of the Month for the reefer/van division. Beckler has been with Decker for 22 years; for the last three years, he has been one of a group of three drivers that hauls animal pharmaceutical products on a dedicated route.
