Fortune magazine has released its annual list of America’s Most Admired Companies, and Con-Way Inc. tops the Transportation and Logistics category, while YRC Worldwide Inc. is No. 1 in the Trucking category.
The Most Admired list is a report card on corporate reputations. To create the top 20, the Hay Group, Fortune‘s survey partners, surveyed 3,322 executives, directors and securities analysts to select the 10 companies they most admired.
Participants chose from a list of companies that ranked in the top 25 percent in 2006’s survey, plus those that finished in the top 20 percent of their industry. A total of 616 companies in 68 industries were surveyed.

4. EGL Inc.
5. Hub Group Inc.
Trucking Most Admired:
1. YRC Worldwide Inc.
2. Ryder System Inc.
3. Landstar System Inc.
4. J.B. Hunt Transport Services Inc.
5. Arkansas Best Corp.
