PowerTrack, the payment outsourcing solution from U.S. Bank, will join forces with Schneider Logistics, an international lead logistics provider and part of the Schneider National enterprise, to host a “State of the Transportation Industry” forum at the upcoming U.S. Bank Financial Supply Chain Conference March 20-22 in Dallas.

The session will take place on Tuesday, March 20. PowerTrack and Schneider Logistics executives will examine recent trends faced by companies managing their supply chains, such as managing overall costs, transportation infrastructure, driver shortages, regulatory impacts for 2007 and rate expectations by mode for 2007. In addition to the “State of the Transportation Industry,” Schneider Logistics also will present a session on supply chain analysis from a third-party logistics (3PL) perspective.

“U.S. Bank and Schneider Logistics have formed a formidable alliance to capture, analyze and interpret leading financial indicators, transportation trends and supply chain analytics as they relate to expanding geographies and services in the global marketplace,” says Rick Langer, senior vice president and general manager for Minneapolis-based PowerTrack. U.S. Bank acquired Schneider Payment Services, a division of Schneider International, in June 2006, which made PowerTrack the largest freight payment provider in the United States.
