The Orlando Trucker’s Conference awarded Glenda Campbell with the “Orlando Woman Trucker of the Year.” The Women in Trucking Association sponsored the award. The association encourages women to consider careers in the trucking industry.
Helping present the award to Campbell was U.S. Rep John Mica, R-Fla., who is the ranking member of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee. James Lamb, president of the Orlando Trucker’s Conference, assisted in the presentation.
Campbell also received a GPS unit donated by Internet Truckstop, and a gift package from the Millenia Mall in Orlando.
