CorroGuard, a spray-in-place thermoplastic elastomer coating, is the newest addition to Great Dane’s protection package to fight corrosion, the company announced at the Mid-America Trucking Show in Louisville, Ky., on Thursday, March 22.

Applied to suspensions and support gear, CorroGuard protects against road abrasion and corrosion, and resists deicing chemicals, road debris, climate fluctuations, ice and snow. It is airtight and watertight, and will not crack, warp, flake or split under even the harshest conditions.

CorroGuard joins Great Dane’s standard corrosion-resistant offerings, which include undercoating compounds for steel components of van underbodies, and a two-step epoxy primer-urethane combination for dry freight van rear frames and platform trailers.
