Central Freight Lines recently won the Grand Trophy in the Texas Motor Transport Association’s Truck Safety Contest. CFL has earned the Grand Trophy three times in the past six years. TMTA awards will be presented July 25 in San Antonio.
After CFL’s line-haul division won first place of the Truck Safety Contest for Texas Carriers from TMTA, the company was entered into the Corporate Safety Exhibit in competition for the Grand Trophy. CFL was up against seven other companies that also had earned first-place safety awards in different categories.
CFL also has won the American Trucking Associations’ top national safety award — the President’s Trophy — four times within the past 20 years.
