GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services says its integrated Web-based reporting and analytical tool, my.Dashboard, when combined with GE’s telematics product, now provides customers with more than 100 data elements. Metrics range from fuel price tracking and preventive maintenance compliance to vehicle usage monitoring and diagnostic trouble code alerting.

Customization functionality of my.Dashboard allows customers to select any combination of more than 100 elements for a truly focused view into their fleet operations, according to GE; this single source makes it easy to monitor, manage and optimize a fleet’s wing-to-wing performance.

GE says it is the first in the industry to add both telematics-based metrics and scheduling/routing functionality to an existing online application, uniting real-time vehicle performance data with existing fleet and vehicle information. Now with more than 100 data elements, my.Dashboard is the most comprehensive and robust fleet management dashboard, giving customers instant visibility to actionable information in one easy-to-use online application, according to the Eden Prairie, Minn.-based company.

my.Dashboard is an analytics tool designed to offer vehicle acquisition, finance, service and disposition-related information displayed in both summarized and detailed formats that allow for fast and easy assembly and analysis of fleet data. Thirteen-month trending and on-screen visual indicators provide quick identification of improvement opportunities, and customization of targets and limits ensures that pertinent data specific to a customer’s requirements is available, GE says.

GE Capital Solutions Fleet Services’ telematics solution currently encompasses two areas of functionality: Asset Optimization and Workforce Productivity. Asset Optimization provides vehicle location (GPS/GIS) functionality and reports, such as key performance indicators, exceptions and alerts that are focused on fleet operating and lifecycle costs; these metrics range from fuel consumption savings opportunities to excessive engine idling. Workforce Productivity provides scheduling and route optimization of the work force; capabilities include vehicle location tracking and exception monitoring.
