IDSC signs two major customers to its Netwise planning software

Integrated Decision Support Corporation (IDSC), a leading provider of decision support software for the truckload carrier, announced that C.A.T. and McGriff Transportation, Inc. are new customers of its Netwise Enterprise planning solution.

C.A.T. Inc., a 500 power unit trucking company providing international truckload service throughout Canada, the United States and Mexico, has been an existing customer of the IDSC Expert Fuel fuel and route optimization software solution since 2004.

McGriff Transportation is a prominent Southern motor carrier serving the entire forty-eight states. The company has been an existing customer of the IDSC Expert Fuel and Trip Alert/Swap Advice software since 2003.

“We chose IDSC’s Netwise Enterprise to assist us in our goal to grow profitable business as we expand across Canada and the United States. We believe Netwise Enterprise is the ultimate tool in analyzing our current and potential lanes as well as performing shipper rank analysis to optimize our freight mix”, said David Gervais, Vice-President Finance for C.A.T.

The Netwise Enterprise solution is identifies low or no-profit freight and how to fix it, identifying high-profit freight and how to get more of it, and identifying ways to improve network balance and profits.

IDSC says that Netwise Enterprise supplies executives with a single view of the business so they can be confident in their decision-making and the impact of decisions on long-term growth, company productivity and customer service. The product also provides a Historical Analysis Module, which keeps a scoreboard on profitability. Additional functions include yield management, shipper profit analysis, pricing analysis, and optimization of the freight mix.
