With certification of the election by the National Labor Relations Board, FedEx Home Delivery drivers at two Wilmington, Mass., became the first in the company’s system to choose Teamster representation. NLRB regional offices have ruled six consecutive times that FedEx Ground and Home Delivery drivers are not independent contractors as the company alleges, giving them the right as employees to form a union, the Teamsters said.
