FedEx companies reduce standard LTL fuel surcharge 25%

FedEx Freight reduced its standard LTL fuel surcharge 25 percent, effective Monday, July 23. In addition, FedEx National LTL, the long-haul LTL company recently formed, reduced its standard LTL fuel surcharge to levels commensurate with FedEx Freight.

“By significantly reducing our fuel surcharges, we offer immediate and long-term assistance to shippers who are facing both a challenging economy and volatile fuel prices,” says FedEx Freight Corp. President and CEO Douglas Duncan.
