XL Insurance recently honored Edwin Hibbard of Linden Bulk Transportation Co. Inc. as its Driver of the Year. At a luncheon in Hibbard’s honor, XL Insurance awarded him with a commemorative pin, a U.S. savings bond and a certificate citing his career accomplishments.
With the help of a national panel of safety experts, XL Insurance selects one driver whose safety record and professional career stands out in the industry, and recognizes that individual as its Driver of the Year.
Hibbard has driven more than three million miles with one nonpreventable accident to his record, and has worked with the Linden family of motor carriers for more than 20 years of his 30-year commercial driving career.
