First responders and residents in areas of Southern California affected by the wildfires can find the nearest open retail fuel stations by logging on to wrightexpress.com. For the duration of the wildfire emergency, Wright Express Corp. is providing access to the fuel station mapping tool on its website.

From the Wright Express home page, click on the “Fuel Supply Report” icon and follow the instructions. An easy-to-use Web application allows users to search and map a list of the nearest retail fuel locations that recently have processed electronic transactions on the Wright Express fleet card network. The information is updated every few minutes.

“Based on our experience helping first responders assisting the Gulf Coast region in recovering from Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we believe that not only first responders but also residents in the wildfire areas of Southern California will benefit from the opportunity to access the fuel station information on our website,” says Michael Dubyak, president and chief executive officer of South Portland, Maine-based Wright Express.

The Wright Express website contains the most accurate and current information available to the company. However, Wright Express has no control or influence over which fuel stations are open, current fuel availability, pricing or future availability at any station.
