Can a shop lift improve productivity? That’s what Rotary Lift is trying to find out. But how to quantify productivity gains?

According to John Rylee, Rotary’s director of marketing, “Studies have shown that adding a single vehicle lift to a shop can add $100,000 or more to the bottom line in annual profits or reduction in labor overhead.”

His statement is supported by the Technology & Maintenance Council’s Recommended Practice No. 804, which states that “Labor accounts for about 60 percent of the amount spent by a fleet to repair and service its vehicles and equipment.
