On Jan 29-31 at the Rosen Shingle Creek Resort in Orlando, Fla., Intermec Technologies will hold its i-comm 2008 conference. Highlights of this year’s annual conference include three days of breakout sessions from companies such as: Aramex, Euro-Sprinters, CarQuest, Terminix, Pepperidge Farm, and Pepsi Bottling Ventures. These Intermec customers will present real-world experiences implementing automated data collection technology that has helped them save money, increase visibility to assets, improve profits and gain competitive advantages.

Attendees will also learn about RFID and other data collection technologies, and mobile computing systems to gain greater visibility throughout the supply chain to enable more intelligent business decisions, the company says.

Last year, Intermec demonstrated the Intermec EX25 scan engine. This year Intermec will demonstrate products utilizing this new technology and give attendees a chance to talk directly with the companies using it.

Educational sessions presented by Intermec and its partners, and keynote speakers, will discuss how technology is changing the way people do business.
