Wisconsin truck registration fees to jump 30%

Truck registration fees in Wisconsin will jump 30 percent, effective Jan. 1. The increase is intended to replenish the state’s transportation fund.

Gov. Jim Doyle, a Democrat, diverted $1.2 billion from the transportation fund over the last two budgets.
