Crawford Trucking — a dry van truckload carrier based in Des Moines, Iowa — recently announced that with the help of its Prophesy software, the company have been able to grow revenues, streamline operations and combat rising fuel costs.

Crawford has a fleet of 30 trucks and a staff of 40 employees, with plans for an acquisition in the near future that could mean an increase to 50 trucks. The company has experienced great success since its founding in 1990, but eventually came to a point where it began to outgrow its once useful methods.

“The first thing that caught my eye is that Prophesy is modular and is flexible for any type and size of trucking company,” says Gregg Ryan, Crawford’s owner. “I was able to purchase only the features I needed, and the whole package was surprisingly affordable. I have worked for companies in the past that required large IT staffs to implement new software. But with the Prophesy implementation, I needed no in-house IT staff whatsoever.”
