Arsenault Associates has released Dossier Version 4.6, the latest feature-rich edition of its maintenance management software. The company says the new version of Dossier includes hundreds of software upgrades and enhancements, as well as three innovative new modules, including the Dossier Tire Management System.
No keyboard data entry is necessary after initial setup. the company says; the tire module gathers readings via the Dossier Tire Probe, a new automated technology that quickly and easily measures tire air pressure and tread depth. The information is sent via Bluetooth wireless to Pocket Dossier (on a handheld PDA), which then updates the Dossier fleet maintenance software via high-speed wireless in real time.
“The Dossier Tire Management System within Dossier Version 4.6 is a major step forward for our customers and for the industry, which has talked about tire management for years but has accomplished little,” says Charles Arsenault, chief executive officer of the Burlington, N.J.-based company. “Some new tire technologies have been introduced, but Dossier Tire Management is the first practical and affordable system. It takes a holistic approach to tire management and provides significant, measurable returns for a reasonable investment in time and effort.”
