Con-way Freight announced that two driver sales representatives recently achieved two million safe miles.

  • Michael Umphrey of Hartselle, Ala., achieved two million safe miles on Sept. 17. The company recognized his achievement on Nov. 11 during a ceremony at its service center in Decatur, Ala., where Umphrey is based. John G. • Bill Henderson, a resident of Savannah, Ga., drove his two million safe miles between 1989 and 2008. The company will recognize his achievement in a ceremony planned for Dec. 19 at its Savannah service center, where Henderson is based.
  • Henderson began his professional truck driving career with Con-way, and he has been driving for more than 19 years.
