Drivers of the estimated 125,000 tractors, trucks and trailers that comprise the combined fleets of NationaLease’s 600 affiliated independent trucking leasing companies can use the updated Emergency Road Service Directory, now available to members online at www.nationalease.com.

The reciprocal service network is designed to provide emergency response 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to drivers experiencing breakdowns or needing repairs throughout the United States and Canada. The Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based company says the new ServiCenter Directory includes a number of improvements that provide drivers with the fastest response time in the industry.

According to NationaLease, the easier-to-navigate directory requires that a member company whose driver needs assistance simply enter the address of where the truck is located; immediately, a map appears that shows all NationaLease affiliates in the vicinity and their full contact information. These affiliates can call upon any of NationaLease’s network of 36,000 preapproved repair facilities and service vendors, staffed by more than 7,000 technicians.

The ServiCenter Directory is designed to allow members to view all service locations and instantly obtain contact information; learn about NationaLease-provided insurance substitute vehicle policies and procedures; and download certifications of liability insurance for substitutes. The site also includes a training film to educate staff on what constitutes a reciprocal service emergency breakdown situation and what procedures to follow, according to the company.
