J.B. Hunt Transport Services announced that the company has been recognized by ConAgra Foods, one of the largest packaged food companies in North America, as the recipient of their 2008 Overall Carrier of the Year award.
“This award is a reflection of what the Hunt team brings to the table,” says Mike Liebherr, vice president of transportation for ConAgra Foods. “J.B. Hunt’s high level of service and ability to deliver solutions that help us meet our customers’ needs are the reasons why they earned this award.”
ConAgra Foods and J.B. Hunt say they have partnered successfully on a number of joint programs in 2008. Criteria used for award selection included on-time service and technological capabilities.
