Eastern Connection recently delivered National Wear Red Day kits for the American Heart Association to area companies participating in the program. As part of this public service campaign for AHA, EC delivered more than 200 packages pro bono, coinciding with the Go Red For Women for program, including a delivery to City Hall in Newton, Mass.
Go Red For Women and National Wear Red Day are programs to build awareness and urge women to take actions to reduce their risk of heart disease, as well as raise necessary funds for prevention and treatment research and education programs.
Eastern Connection, an East Coast regional parcel carrier based in Woburn, Mass., is a longtime supporter of AHA.
