Aljex Software — a provider of hosted management software for freight brokers, 3PLs and other transportation providers — announced that Kelly Scott and Steven Redwine have joined the company in marketing and in product development, respectively.

Scott comes to Aljex from the Transportation Intermediaries Association, which she joined in 1997 and where she served most recently as director of member services. TIA is the professional organization of the third-party logistics industry. Scott will bring her expertise to Aljex customers and potential customers in a sales and marketing capacity. She will work from Northern Virginia via the Internet, using Aljex’s Web-based office management system.

Redwine comes to Aljex from The Colography Group, an Atlanta-based company that provides market intelligence to transportation companies, multinational shippers, legal and financial institutions, and governments in the United States and abroad. Redwine is a programmer and analyst with extensive experience in transportation. He will be based in Georgia.

“Kelly and Steve will provide the professional know-how to serve our customers and grow our offerings to meet and exceed customer needs — now and going forward,” says Tom Heine, president of Middlesex, N.J.-based Aljex.
