Averitt Express recently announced it is improving its service to and from Texas with the opening of new locations in four strategic markets: Amarillo, Wichita Falls, Del Rio and Corpus Christi.

The Cookeville, Tenn.-based company says the move will improve transit times in hundreds of lanes in and out of Texas, and also will strengthen its flexibility in the four markets, better enabling it to meet shippers’ needs for stronger service in the Lone Star State.

“These new locations will help us reduce transit times and enhance our capabilities for numerous Texas points,” says Calvin Rackley, Averitt’s regional vice president for Texas and Oklahoma. “We’re opening in these cities in response to our customers’ shipping needs.”

The four new locations bring Averitt’s total in Texas to 18, out of more than 100 nationwide.
