Con-way Truckload has announced Bob Horodecky as the new regional sales manager of Southern Texas, responsible for cultivating the growth of the company’s existing customer base and securing new business in Houston, San Antonio and Austin, as well as Southern Louisiana. He is based out of Con-way Truckload’s Houston location.
With a career in transportation sales spanning more than 20 years, Horodecky brings extensive experience and business relationships to the Joplin, Mo.-based company, particularly in Southern Texas. He began his career with Roadway Express, where he participated in the management training program in Southern California. He later took a position with USF Freightways in Houston as a sales manager in Texas before serving in senior sales positions at Saia Motor Lines and Estes Express. Prior to joining Con-way Truckload, Horodecky worked in sales for Werner Enterprises.
