Telogis acquires Darby’s fleet tracking business

Telogis, a company that offers a platform for Location Based Services, announced it has acquired Darby Corporate Solutions’ (DCS) GPS fleet tracking business.

The Telogis acquisition gives Darby fleet management customers an enhanced offering of location based solutions, the company says. “Telogis has had a long standing relationship with DCS,” stated Dave Cozzens, CEO of Telogis. “With the acquisition of the DCS fleet management business, Darby customers will have the combined technologies of both Darby and Telogis available to them.”

“Our customers will benefit from Telogis’ OnTrack platform of advanced technologies, such as optimized vehicle routing, navigation, vehicle maintenance and satellite imagery,” said Darby Vice President Jim Dunham. “The Telogis platform of location based technologies is the best in the world. Our customers will also see a robust support team in the Telogis environment.”
